4-Year-Old Program
Children must be 4 years old by December 31st.
Classes are 2.5 hours long, 2 days a week.
The 4-year-old program is a great way to prepare your child for kindergarten. Children are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings while all avenues of learning are explored. This program will focus on listening skills, social abilities as well as letters, numbers, colors and shapes recognition. Kids will learn through free play, crafts, story time and structured activities.

My name is Tanya Molnar and I’m so excited to be the 4yr old teacher again this year. I’ve been working with young learners at Strathmore & District playschool for 18 years and I can’t imagine anywhere else I’d rather be. I love helping children explore, imagine, and grow. In our class, we’ll learn through play, ask lots of questions, make new friends, and have plenty of fun along the way. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and your amazing child, here’s to another exceptional year together!
4 Year Old Class – Classroom Assistant

My name is Brenda Struiksma and I am so excited to be working as the Teacher Assistant for the 4 year old program this year. I have been a resident of Strathmore for 30 years after making the short move from the Rockyford area. Paul and I have been married for 30 years and have 2 wonderful children ages 23 and 20. I love working at the Playschool and working with preschool children. I look forward to meeting all of you and having another great year at Playschool!
4 Year Old Class – Educational Assistant

Hi, my name is Allison Salituri, and I am so excited to be back again this year! This will be my sixth year as an Educational Assistant, where I will be assisting kids in Mrs. Hall’s and Ms. Tanya’s classroom. My husband and I, along with our two daughters (ages 11 & 14) have lived in Strathmore for 8 years and have come to love it and are happy to call it home.
